Chaki – New York, Late 1980s

Made for Chaki, a restaurant at 396 3rd Avenue in New York in the late ’80s. The front goes unexpectedly spiritual with the Buddha face, while the back is almost aggressively practical – restaurant name, address and phone number blown up like an advertisement.
