Hard Rock Sarajevo – Iron Fist

Sarajevo never had an official Hard Rock Cafe. Yet during the post-war years, Hard Rock Sarajevo souvenirs began appearing anyway – an unofficial version of an American institution made for a city where the institution itself didn’t exist. Surviving Sarajevo Zippos from the period are still associated with the international and military presence in Bosnia.

This one has lived far beyond the souvenir. IRON FIST TO THE FACE is disappearing across the back, while paint, removed sleeves and years of wear have taken over the front.
