n 2007 Marilyn Manson and Slayer somehow became co-headliners: two full sets, with Bleeding Through opening. The pairing was strange enough that contemporary reviews joked about the absurdity of Slayer opening for anybody – Manson arriving with corsets and theatrical props immediately after Slayer had spent its set playing “Raining Blood.”
