Before Sun became inseparable from Elvis, Johnny Cash and early rock ’n’ roll, Sam Phillips gave the label a rooster greeting a rising sun – a new day, a new opportunity. Thirty years later the same little rooster was still sitting underneath the SUN name on shirts like this one.
