The Beatles – Seattle 1964

The graphic reproduces a ticket from the Beatles’ first Washington State concert, at Seattle Center Coliseum on August 21, 1964 – part of their first full North American tour. The original $5 tickets became scarce enough that scalpers were getting as much as $30 before the show.

Rather than turning the concert into a huge band graphic, the entire event is compressed back into the small piece of paper that originally let someone through the door.
